Technologies, the I.T. firm run by the Benson Idahosa University, Benin City. I am in charge of the universities Wireless and Internet Access infrastructure. One of my major roles is to liaise with I.T. Vendors and service providers on behalf the institution, like VSAT providers and Telecom Operators. I am also in charge of planning and expanding the campus network and its services.We hope to one day have large data circuits to other universities in our locality and enable use collaborate more and share IT resources. Each central switch is then backboned to the main campus Network centre via wirelss C.P.E.s. The Wi-Fi C.P.E.s are connected to a couple of Wireless APs at the Network Centre, which bridges the entire network together.We currently run Google Apps for our email and Intranet Applications.
